Basketball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 68-59 to the Jefferson Democrats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Democrats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 72-58 back in January.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Jefferson, their win bumped their record up to 7-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cardinals challenge the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
