Football Recap: Shelley Comes Up Short at Home Against Preston

Shelley unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 37-17 to the Preston Indians on Friday. The Russets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shelley will challenge Star Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Preston, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Blackfoot at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
