Football Recap: Shelley Starts Season with Loss at Home

Shelley unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 37-17 to the Preston Indians on Friday. The Russets were down 30-9 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Shelley has already played their next contest, a 33-7 loss against Star Valley on the 29th. As for Preston, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 28-7 defeat against Blackfoot on the 29th.
