Lake Gibson kept a clean sheet against Kathleen on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Kathleen Red Devils with a sharp 7-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Braves, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Kathleen from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Ali Simonides led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Lake Gibson now has a winning record of 8-7-2. As for Kathleen, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7-1 record this season.
