Soccer Game Preview: Palmyra vs. Hershey

The Palmyra Cougars will take on the Hershey Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

It was a proper cat-fight when Palmyra challenged Central Dauphin East on Tuesday. Neither the Cougars nor the Panthers could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Palmyra have been dealt a draw since back in August.

Meanwhile, Hershey had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They never let the Falcons get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. Give Hershey's defense some credit: that's the team's eighth straight shutout.

Palmyra's draw makes their record 6-9-2 this season. As for Hershey, their victory bumped their record up to 14-1-1.
