Basketball Game Preview: Midview Middies vs. Olmsted Falls Bulldogs

Midview hasn't had much luck against Olmsted Falls recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Middies will look to defend their home court against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Midview is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Wednesday. They came out on top against Vermilion by a score of 53-43. The victory continues a trend for the Middies in their matchups with the Sailors: they've now won four in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Midview to victory, but perhaps none more so than Leila Morgan, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 16 boards. Those 16 rebounds gave Morgan a new career-high. Leah DiFranco was another key player, shooting 67% from the field to rack up 19 points and six boards.

Meanwhile, Olmsted Falls beat Brush 57-50 on Saturday.

Midview was dealt a bruising 66-25 defeat at the hands of Olmsted Falls in their previous meeting back in January. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Middies were down 42-9.
