Basketball Recap: Sonoraville Gets the Win

After losing to Murray County the last time they met, Sonoraville decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Sonoraville Phoenix snuck past the Murray County Indians with a 56-51 win on Friday.

Sonoraville has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-11 record this season. As for Murray County, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Sonoraville won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Coahulla Creek at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Coahulla Creek's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for Murray County, they will challenge Rockmart at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
