Bourne extended their home winning streak to nine games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Avery Morrill. The Canalmen put the hurt on the Seekonk Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday with plenty of help from Morrill, who had 12 digs and five aces. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Bourne walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-19, 25-20.

Bourne's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Seekonk, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bourne will take on Old Rochester Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Seekonk, they will challenge Monomoy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
