Soccer Recap: Augusta E Takes a Loss

Augusta E lost to Providence back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles lost 7-0 to the Panthers. While losing is never fun, Augusta E can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 323rd in Georgia, while Providence are ranked 40th in South Carolina).

Augusta E now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Providence, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Augusta E will head out to take on Westminster Schools of Augusta at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Providence, they will venture away from home to face off against Heathwood Hall Episcopal at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
