Basketball Recap: Woodward-Granger Comes Up Short

After flying high against GMG on Thursday, Woodward-Granger came back down to earth. The Woodward-Granger Hawks fell just short of the West Central Valley Wildcats by a score of 32-30 on Friday. The Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Woodward-Granger's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for West Central Valley, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Woodward-Granger has already played their next game, a 52-35 loss against Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center on the 14th. As for West Central Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 55-18 win against Ogden on the 14th.
