Recap: Anthem Prep Eagles vs. San Pasqual Valley Warriors
The Anthem Prep Eagles lost against the San Pasqual Valley Warriors back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Anthem Prep fell 45-32 to San Pasqual Valley. Anthem Prep has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
San Pasqual Valley was led to victory by Kyla Emerson and Daeja Villicana. Emerson scored 20 points, while Villicana scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals. The game was Emerson's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was AB Ruiz, who scored 4 points along with 11 rebounds.
Anthem Prep now has a losing record at 2-3. As for San Pasqual Valley, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Anthem Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against North Valley Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for San Pasqual Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Ray at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Ray focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Saturday.
