Volleyball Recap: Valley Central Escapes with a Win

Valley Central's tournament run continued when they took on Ketcham on Saturday. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Indians 1-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Olivia Lipiro, who had seven assists, three digs, and three aces. Serafina Franco was another key player, getting seven digs.

Valley Central's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Ketcham, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Valley Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against John Jay on the 5th.
