Baseball Game Preview: The Bay School Breakers vs. Head-Royce Jayhawks

The Bay School is 0-3 against Head-Royce since March of 2022 but things could change on Wednesday. The Breakers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Jayhawks at 3:30 p.m. The Bay School is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games.

On Thursday, The Bay School was able to grind out a solid victory over International, taking the game 18-13.

Nate Won was excellent, getting on base in all six of his plate appearances with five runs, two stolen bases, and one triple. Those five runs gave him a new career-high. Jasper Cook was another key player, getting on base in five of his six plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Head-Royce). They put the hurt on Redwood Christian with a sharp 14-1 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Jayhawks, who have now won six contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The Bay School's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Head-Royce, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.
