Basketball Recap: Glenns Ferry Takes a Loss

Glenns Ferry lost against Carey back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Glenns Ferry Pilots took a 51-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carey Panthers.

Stockton Sears went supernova for Carey, putting up 25 points and four steals. Those 25 points gave Sears a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aj Black, who posted eight points and 11 rebounds.

Glenns Ferry now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Carey, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which lines up perfectly with their 15-5 record this season.

Looking ahead, Glenns Ferry will look to defend their home court on Monday against Lighthouse Christian at 7:30 p.m. Glenns Ferry is facing Lighthouse Christian at the right time seeing as Lighthouse Christian is stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Carey, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-30 win against Hansen on the 6th.
