Basketball Recap: Kennedy Memorial Comes Up Short

Kennedy Memorial was the 75-23 winner over Wardlaw Hartridge when they last played one another back in February of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Kennedy Memorial Mustangs were just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 26-25 to the Wardlaw Hartridge Rams. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 350th, while the Rams are ranked 169th).

Kennedy Memorial has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Wardlaw Hartridge, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Kennedy Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wardlaw Hartridge will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Dunellen at 4:00 p.m. on February 19th.
