Trumbull and Ridgefield are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2016, but not for long. The Trumbull Eagles will square off against the Ridgefield Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Trumbull was able to grind out a solid win over Staples, taking the game 57-50. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Ridgefield entered their tilt with Greenwich on Friday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 41-40 W against the Cardinals.

Ridgefield pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Trumbull, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.

Trumbull came out on top in a nail-biter against Ridgefield when the teams last played back in February of 2024, sneaking past 53-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Trumbull since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
