Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mayflower). They walked away with a 71-60 win over the Pea Ridge Blackhawks on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Mayflower pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.4 points per game. As for Pea Ridge, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

The future could be bright for both Mayflower and Pea Ridge: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Mayflower will try to hand Baptist Prep their fourth-straight loss when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Pea Ridge will look to extend Green Forest's four-game losing streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on January 7th.
