With a playoff win on the line, Franklin Learning Center rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They blew past Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech 15-5. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won six contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

Franklin Learning Center is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Franklin Learning Center will face off against Simon Gratz at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed eight runs per game on average), something the Bobcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
