Volleyball Recap: Tough Loss for Lincoln

The Lincoln Cardinals came up short against the Archie Whirlwinds on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final set scores wound up at 25-21, 25-17, 25-14.

Reagan Tenholder went supernova for Archie, getting 20 kills, 11 digs, six aces, and a solo block. Another player making a difference was Madison Wilson, who had 22 assists and seven digs.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Archie, they have started the season off flawlessly and have a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Lincoln will play host again on Wednesday to welcome Lakeland, where the match is scheduled at 5:30 p.m. The match will give the Cardinals their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Archie, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Lone Jack on the 3rd.
