Drew Pulsifer and Chris Jaillet were major factors no matter where they played. Throwing, Pulsifer pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Jaillet didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. What's more, Pulsifer posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. At the plate, Pulsifer went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one run, while Jaillet went 2-for-5 with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Will Norris, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alex Berman, who got on base in two of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Andover's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Methuen, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-5.
