Soccer Recap: East Peoria Takes a Loss

East Peoria was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Olympia Spartans, falling 3-0.

East Peoria's loss dropped their record down to 0-14-1. As for Olympia, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Peoria will host Morton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Morton will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something East Peoria surely won't give up without a fight. As for Olympia, they will challenge Peoria Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Peoria Christian's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Olympia's offense will have their work cut out for them.
