Baseball Recap: Pilgrim Patriots vs. Cranston East Thunderbolts
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Pilgrim and Cranston East meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Wednesday. The Patriots' pitchers stepped up to hand the Thunderbolts a 3-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-2 on Wednesday.
Tyler Boudreau looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.
