Little Snake River entered their tilt with Rangely on Thursday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They really took it to the Rangely Panthers for the full four quarters, racking up a 70-43 victory. Given the Rattlers' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 22nd in Wyoming, while the Panthers are ranked 306th in Colorado), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Little Snake River's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tymber Cozzens led the charge by going 8-for-12 en route to 16 points and three steals. Aiden Jones was another key player, going 5-for-10 on his way to 15 points.

Little Snake River was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rangely only racked up seven assists.

Rangely's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Marcos Quintana, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kacey Allred, who posted 13 points in addition to seven boards and four steals.

Little Snake River's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.4 points over those games. As for Rangely, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Little Snake River has already played their next matchup, a 78-35 victory against Fort Washakie on the 8th. As for Rangely, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-55 defeat against Vail Christian on the 8th.
