Volleyball Recap: Southern Wayne Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Southern Wayne was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Rocky Mount last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Saints lost 3-0 to the Northern Nash Knights on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-7, 25-15.

Southern Wayne's defeat was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Northern Nash, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Southern Wayne didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Smithfield-Selma on the 1st. As for Northern Nash, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Hunt on the 2nd.
