Volleyball Game Preview: Emmett Huskies vs. Homedale Trojans

The Emmett Huskies will head out on the road to square off against the Homedale Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Homedale took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Emmett, who comes in off a win.

Emmett took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Payette. The victory was some much needed relief for the Huskies as it spelled an end to their five-match losing streak.

The final score came out to 25-17, 19-25, 25-20, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Homedale came up short against Cole Valley Christian on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Trojans have struggled against the Chargers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-13, 25-20.

Emmett's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Homedale, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Emmett couldn't quite get it done against Homedale in their previous meeting on September 4th as they fell 3-1. Can the Huskies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
