Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Norman North). They blew past the McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets 6-0 on Saturday. The high-scoring effort was just what Norman North needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Their offense was hitting McGill-Toolen from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Makenna Adam led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Norman North has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-1-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six matchups. As for McGill-Toolen, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norman North will venture away from home to square off against Putnam City West at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Norman North are facing Putnam City West at the right time seeing as Putnam City West are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for McGill-Toolen, they will square off against Mary G. Montgomery at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
