Volleyball Recap: Borden Comes Up Short

The Borden Braves came up short against the Perry Central Commodores on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Mallory Thomas paced Borden's offense, picking up four kills. Thomas got some help from Alivia Thomas and her seven assists.

Among those leading the charge was Kaitlyn Goffinet, who had ten digs and two assists.

Borden's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Perry Central, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Borden didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Salem on the 16th. As for Perry Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Mitchell on the 16th.
