Recap: Leto Falcons vs. Largo Packers

The Leto Falcons struggled with offensive rebounds on Wednesday (the Largo Packers had 1200% more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Leto was dealt a 63-25 loss at the hands of Largo. Leto has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leto's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Lizbeth Rivera, who scored 13 points, and De'Layla Brass who scored 9 points. Rivera scored a full 52% of Leto's points, the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Mikayla Paschal continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Largo, dropping a double-double on 36 points and 14 rebounds. The match was Paschal's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ana Leka, who scored 12 points.

Leto bumped their record down to 2-4 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.5 points per game. As for Largo, their win bumped their record up to 1-3.

Leto will look to defend their home court on Friday against King at 7:00 p.m. King and Leto are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads. As for Largo, they will head out on the road to face off against Hollins at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hollins comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
