Baseball Recap: Severance Takes a Loss

Severance was the 9-6 winner over Roosevelt when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Silver Knights fell 8-5 to the Roughriders on Monday.

Severance saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Declan Moylett, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Another was Brady Iversen, who scored two runs and stole a base.

Severance's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Roosevelt, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

Coming up, Severance will square off against Thompson Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Silver Knights surely won't give up without a fight. As for Roosevelt, they will face off against Poudre at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
