Volleyball Recap: Benjamin Logan Comes Up Short

If Benjamin Logan was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Shawnee on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders lost 3-0 to the Kenton Ridge Cougars on Thursday. The Raiders have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Summer Cline paced Benjamin Logan's offense, picking up six kills. Cline also shared the team's lead in assists with Kylie Harner: they picked up eight each. Finally, Abby Vance kept Benjamin Logan's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Benjamin Logan's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Kenton Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
