Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Minden). Everything went their way against the Southwood Cowboys on Monday as the Minden Crimson Tide made off with a 21-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Crimson Tide as they're now sitting on three straight.

Gracie Sparks was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in February of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Leigha Kennon Gilbert, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Lizzie Balkom was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Minden always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .821. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
