Volleyball Game Preview: Taravella Trojans vs. Western Wildcats

Taravella is 0-3 against Western since April of 2022 but things could change on Monday. The Trojans will host the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. Taravella will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, Taravella got the win against Hallandale by a conclusive 3-0.

Taravella was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-11, 25-21.

Meanwhile, after a string of eight wins, Western's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of St. Thomas Aquinas by a score of 3-2.

Western took St. Thomas Aquinas into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-23, 25-16, 23-25, 15-13.

Western's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Taravella, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
