Football Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Hartshorne

Hartshorne entered their tilt with Warner on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They enjoyed a cozy 30-12 win over the Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Miners also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Hartshorne's defense and their five sacks. Raider Schoggins was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Hartshorne is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.

Although Warner took the loss, they still got scores from Logan Collins and Kristopher Gonzalez.

Hartshorne's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Warner, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, Hartshorne will host Rejoice Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 13.7 points per game this season, so the Miners' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Warner, they are taking a road trip to face off against Panama at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will be up against the Razorbacks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
