Soccer Recap: Covington Comes Up Short at Home Against Dyer County

Covington unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Dyer County Choctaws on Monday, falling 4-1. Covington haven't had much luck with Dyer County recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Coming up, Covington is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Gibson County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Dyer County, they will host Ripley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
