Softball Recap: Groveton Find Success

Groveton won the last time they faced Brookeland and things went their way on Friday too. The Groveton Indians came out on top against the Brookeland Wildcats by a score of 5-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Groveton's record now sits at 12-4-1. As for Brookeland, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Groveton will welcome Douglass at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brookeland, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Brookeland Wildcats face off against West Sabine Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Sabine is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
