Volleyball Recap: Crown Point Comes Up Short

Crown Point lost against Munster back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Mustangs. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Issac Beard paced Crown Point's offense, picking up four kills. Beard got some help from Aiden Matthews and his five assists. Drew Schafer controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Crown Point now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Munster, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-9.

Coincidentally, Crown Point and Munster will both be playing Boone Grove the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will host the Wolves at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Mustangs will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
