Volleyball Recap: Honeoye Falls-Lima Takes a Loss

The Honeoye Falls-Lima Cougars lost 3-0 to the Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets on Saturday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-13, 25-17.

Honeoye Falls-Lima's offense was headlined by Ashley Parrish and Isabella Hendler, who picked up four kills apiece. They were helped by Zoey Schrader and Taylor Foos, who contributed five assists each. Finally, Hendler was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Honeoye Falls-Lima's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Rush-Henrietta, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

Looking ahead, Honeoye Falls-Lima will venture away from home to face off against Mendon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rush-Henrietta, they will welcome Webster Schroeder at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
