Softball Recap: Springdale Takes a Loss

Springdale fell victim to Bentonville West and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Wolverines, falling 14-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Springdale has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Bentonville West, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-7.

Looking ahead, Springdale will challenge Valley Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a 19-game losing streak. As for Bentonville West, they will host Pea Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
