Softball Recap: Era Comes Up Short

After flying high against Perrin-Whitt last Tuesday, Era came back down to earth. The Era Hornets came up short against the Sam Rayburn Rebels on Thursday, falling 13-3.

Briar Hollis made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double. That double was her first of the season.

Era's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Sam Rayburn, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Era will square off against Trenton at 4:05 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sam Rayburn, they will face off against Pottsboro at 4:05 p.m. on Thursday.
