Soccer Recap: Wooddale Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Wooddale has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kingsbury Falcons. That's two games in a row now that Wooddale have lost by just one goal.

Wooddale's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Kingsbury, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wooddale will take on Memphis School of Excellence Winchester at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wooddale's defense better be ready for this one: Memphis School of Excellence Winchester have averaged an impressive 3.4 goals per game this season. As for Kingsbury, they will square off against Memphis Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
