Softball Recap: Millville Takes a Loss

Millville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 24-2 to the Muncy Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Quakers of the 15-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Millville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Riera-Gomez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Millville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Muncy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Millville will be playing at home against Our Lady of Lourdes Regional at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Muncy, they will welcome Columbia Montour Vo-Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
