Basketball Game Preview: Wauseon Indians vs. Rossford Bulldogs

The Wauseon Indians and the Rossford Bulldogs will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Wauseon and five for Rossford.

On Friday, Wauseon came up short against Patrick Henry and fell 50-42. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 360th, while the Patriots are ranked 52nd).

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 66-34, which was the final score in Rossford's tilt against Eastwood on Friday.

Rossford's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Wauseon, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-8.

Wauseon was able to grind out a solid victory over Rossford in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, winning 58-47. Does Wauseon have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rossford turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
