Sawyer Jones showed up in a big way on Thursday, dropping a double-double on 32 points and 12 boards. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 8.1 rebounds per game. His evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. For the year, he has averaged 19.6 points, 5.2 steals, and 8.1 rebounds.

Jones and Aurora Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mountain Grove Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on February 18th. The Arrows got just the result they wanted when they last faced the EAGLES, probably because Jones had a solid game then too: he dropped a triple-double on 29 points, 11 boards, and 14 steals.
