Memphis Central came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 5-0 to the Lakeland Preparatory Lions. Memphis Central's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Memphis Central now has a losing record of 7-8-1. As for Lakeland Preparatory, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2-2 record this season.
