Softball Recap: Bend Lava Bears vs. Crook County Cowboys

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Caldera, Bend was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Crook County Cowboys as they made off with a 15-2 victory. The win continues a trend for the Lava Bears in their matchups with the Cowboys: they've now won seven in a row.

McKenna Nye made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Nye was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in May of 2025.
