Football Game Preview: De La Salle Meteors vs. Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers + How To Watch

De La Salle is 0-3 against Joliet Catholic since September of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Meteors will be playing at home against the Hilltoppers at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

De La Salle's last matchup with Nazareth Academy could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. The Meteors took a blow against the Roadrunners, falling 43-0. While losing is never fun, the Meteors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 364th, while the Roadrunners are ranked fifth).

Meanwhile, Joliet Catholic played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Chicago Mt. Carmel 35-7. The contest marked the Hilltoppers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Joliet Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for De La Salle, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
