Volleyball Recap: McLane Takes a Loss

McLane was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Sunnyside Wildcats. The Highlanders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

While McLane ultimately came up short, they really made Sunnyside work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 27-25, 25-18.

McLane's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Sunnyside, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 16-17.

Coming up, McLane will welcome Sanger at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Apaches will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Highlanders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sunnyside, they will challenge Bullard at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
