Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Smithfield walked away with it. They came out on top against the Coventry Oakers by a score of 44-36 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Sentinels sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Smithfield's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.2 points over those games. As for Coventry, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.

Coming up, Smithfield will take on East Providence at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. East Providence will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Smithfield surely won't give up without a fight. Coventry does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
