Baseball Game Preview: Palm Springs Indians vs. Norte Vista Braves

The Palm Springs Indians will take on the Norte Vista Braves at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Palm Springs is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest defeat since April 8, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Arroyo Valley by a score of 6-4.

Palm Springs saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rogelio Jacquez, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Norte Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-3 to Moreno Valley.

Casen Newsham was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI. What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.

Palm Springs' defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Norte Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
