Baseball Recap: Marion Comes Up Short

Marion was the 12-1 winner over Bowler when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs lost 24-16 to the Panthers on Thursday.

Marion's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Bowler, they moved to 8-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

The future could be bright for both Marion and Bowler: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Mustangs will look to extend Weyauwega-Fremont's three-game losing streak when they meet at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bowler will try to hand White Lake their ninth-straight defeat when the two meet at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
